Pickleball Courts at Whitney Recreation Center

Pickleball Courts at Whitney Recreation Center

What do you get when you combine tennis, badminton, and ping-pong? Only the greatest game ever named after a dog: pickleball! A hybrid of badminton, tennis, and table-tennis pickleball is a 3-in-1 game, played with wooden paddles and a perforated plastic ball in a normal Badminton court or on any hard surface with a 3-foot net. It’s an exciting way for people of all ages to stay active and to meet new people!

We offer 6 indoor Pickleball courts at Whitney Recreation Center; cost is $3.25 (plus tax) per session, or 20 pass punch cards are available for $50.00 plus tax. And, seasonally, check out our outdoor courts at Calvary Hill Park! Nets will be set up in mid-April (weather permitting); courts are available 8:00 a.m. until dusk.
