Day of Week: Verify Schedule
Pickleball Courts at Pioneer Park
Pioneer Park located at 2670 Wimbledon Drive. This park has tennis courts (lined for pickleball too), basketball courts, baseball fields, open space with a great grass rolling hill, a short loop of a walking path, and a playground with swings! Try-Learn-Play with Woodbury Parks & Recreation.
Pickleball Courts at Rochester Pickleball
The Rochester Area Pickleball Association (RAPA) practices almost every day at Cooke Park. Check them out this summer (and look for Matthew Stolle’s coverage of the players in this week’s 507 Magazine)! Rochester Recreation Center also hosts indoor pickleball play during the winter season.
Pickleball Courts at Central Park
This park is packed with your year round recreation opportunities. During the summer months, pickleball, tennis and basketball courts; batting cage; and baseball, soccer, and softball fields are available for your leisure. During the fall, football is in full swing and there are two field goal posts to practice your kicking.
Central also has two outdoor skating rinks, a scenic pleasure path around the baseball field and a spacious relaxing warming house. There is also a newly created pavilion donated by the Ramsey Lions Club that features a concession stand that is also available for rent.
Pickleball Courts at Riverview Estates Park
Riverview Estates Park has two courts that are fenced off from the rest of the park. The courts are free, open to the public and not often in use.
Two signs are posted at the entrance to the courts.
“Tennis Courts for Tennis Only”
and
“Attention Tennis Players
Respect the property of out neighbors when retrieving tennis balls
Please walk around hedges & shrubs
Also try to keep tennis balls within the confines of the fences
Thank you for your cooperation
Park & Recreation Staff”
Although the signage states the courts are for Tennis Only, both courts are stripped for tennis and pickleball.
Entrance to the parking lot for the courts is from the north, off of 37th Ave. South.
In addition to the courts the park has a hockey rink, baseball diamond, wading pool, playground, full sized basketball court, sledding hill, a sheltered picnic area and acres of open grass.
