Sessions Are Provided Through Ely Community Education. Winter Session Begins In October. Winter Session Is Played At The Vermilion Community College Gymnasium. 1900 E. Camp St. Locker Rooms Are Available. Summer Sessions Are Played Outdoors At The Ely Memorial Courts. Pickleball Courts at Riley Lake Park
Riley Lake Park Pavilion offers pickleball play with six outdoor pickleball courts – the first lighted pickleball facility in Eden Prairie. The courts can accommodate as many as 25 players and are open to the public from 9 A.M to 1 P.M during weekdays (Monday to Friday) and 9 A.M to 11 A.M on Sunday. Very Competitive play on Sundays.
Pickleball Courts at Apple Valley Community Center
Outdoor courts at Apple Valley Community Center are open to the public and free to use. As for the indoor courts, there’s a drop-in fee of $4 per person and session.
Apple Valley Community Center Adult Open Gym will also hold pickleball clinics and competitive matches for ages 18 and over starting this October 2018 thru May 2019 in the Adult Open Gym. Participants are required to fill out a Participant Registration card, show an ID, and pay the admission fee prior to participation. These activities are for adults and children are not to be in the gym. No food or beverages allowed in the gym (except water). Up-to-Ten Admission punch cards are available for purchase (2018 rates are $35 for Residents and $40 for Non-Residents). Indoor pickleball facilities can be rented. Pickleball Courts at Frank Hall Park
Frank Hall Park in Albert Lea City has six outdoor pickleball courts and can accommodate up to 30 players. In 2014, three tennis courts have been converted to six pickleball courts with permanent nets. Pickleball play is for free and available starting at 8 A.M every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and 5 P.M every Tuesday and Thursday. The park has also reserved a 5 P.M timeslot for women’s and couples every Monday. Lights are available from 7:00 P.M to 10:30 P.M.
Frank Hall Park has already hosted a number of pickleball tournaments, including the 2018 Summer Sizzler pickleball tourney last August.
