Scott Park in Apple Valley features two outdoor pickleball courts with permanent nets and lights. Pickleball players can play in the area anytime as the courts are open to the public. Snacks and foods are available with a Holiday Station Store located nearby.

Pickleball Courts at Central Green Park. & Armed Forces Ctr. (AFC)
Wooden paddles and balls are available to players at both indoor and outdoor courts. Central Green Park reopened four pickleball dedicated outdoor courts in spring 2018. We welcome new players to learn and play the game.
Outdoor courts play are allowed on the following schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday: from 8:30 AM onwards
Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 PM
Women’s Play – Tuesday at 2:30 PM.
During the winter season, AFC holds indoor pickleball sessions every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 p.m to 8:30 p.m.

The Rec Center is closed on New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. There are modified hours on other holidays. Call the Rec Center at 952-227-1400 for specific information.

Pickleball Courts at Moor Park
What do you get when you cross badminton, tennis, and ping pong? Pickleball! Try this popular sport now for free at Moor Park. This popular sport is played on a court with a whiffle ball and a hard paddle. The ball typically moves at 1/3 of the average speed of a tennis ball and the court is 1/3 of the total area of a tennis court.

Adult Intermediate/Advanced Pickleball
Pickleball play for intermediate and advanced players is offered Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s from 1:30-3:30 pm and Friday mornings 9:30 to 11:30 am. Annual memberships are $35.00; Day passes are $4.00.
Beginner/Recreational Pickleball Player League
League for Beginners/Recreational players will be held Monday’s from 1:30-3:30 pm and Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 4:00-6:00. Annual Membership fee is $35.00/Day Pass is $4.00. Come and try America’s fastest growing sport!
Equipment Rental
The Parks and Recreation office has the following recreation equipment available for rental: Bocce Ball, Shuffleboard, Pickleball, Disc Golf, Tennis Rackets, GPS Units and Snowshoes. Equipment, (with the exception of Pickleball and GPS Units), can be rented for two hour time periods. Payment and a current drivers license are required at check-out time. Sorry, cash or check only.
